Info Session February 17th for the City of Providence Early Learning Facilities Grant

As you may be know, over the last two years LISC has supported child care facilities through the City of Providence Early Learning Facilities grant program and we’re excited to announce opening this February the City of Providence’s Child Care and Early Learning Facilities Infrastructure Support. This program offers a competitive pool of grants to expand access to high quality early learning facilities across Providence. A total of $1.5 Million of funding is available for providers serving high-needs children in Providence.

Grants are available in the following categories:

  • Facilities Planning Grants
  • Capital Grants for renovation and/or construction

LISC has developed an informational session in both English and Spanish for you to learn more about this grant opportunity for Providence-based providers. February 17th at 11:30am – 1:30pm join the RI Child Care Facilities Fund Team as they explain the eligibility and priority criteria, what types of projects are eligible, the application process, and what resources are available. If you are unable to attend the live session, recordings of the session in English and Spanish will also be released.
