RIAEYC is enrolling for the spring 2027 cohort of its registered apprenticeship program for infant/toddler educators interested in earning college credits from RIC.
Participants receive:
- 16 college credits through the Birth–3 Certificate program at Rhode Island College
- On-site coaching aligned with the LearnERS content areas
- A pre- and post-assessment that may be used toward the centers BrightStars quality rating score
- A $1.50 hourly wage increase upon completion of the 18-month program
- Employers are eligible to receive $1000 from RI DLT and $1000 from RI DHS to help cover the cost of wage increase
