CELP Site Update Announcement – External PD Submission Feature is Coming!

The highly anticipated external Professional Development feature on the CELP site is almost ready! This announcement is to let you know that, late next week, this feature will be available on the CELP site. As a recap, our CELP site has been “communicating” with the RISES Workforce Registry system to push PD hours earned via completed CELP developed PD courses into your RISES Workforce Registry account. This happens through 1) verifying a matching unique identifier – your Workforce Registry ID and 2) a thoroughly tested “communication” between the CELP site and the RISES system. Please, if you haven’t already set up your RISES account AND added your workforce ID into both your CELP account and ProSolutions (Health & Safety courses), take the time to do so this week so your data will transfer to RISES efficiently. The CELP team is finalizing a self-help guidance document and recorded tutorials on how to navigate the new external PD submission feature. In addition to these supports, we will share upcoming dates for drop-in support. We recommend organizing your most recent external PD so the information for that is ready to enter along with the supporting certificates for those completed PD. The external PD is any PD completed that is 1) NOT offered and run by CELP and 2) NOT the health and safety and other modules you can also register for via CELP (ProSolutions). Those Health & Safety Modules and other courses via ProSolutions will merge to your CELP account as long as you have 1) your RISES Workforce Registry account created, 2) Workforce ID entered into your CELP account and 3) the same Workforce ID entered into your ProSolutions account. While this does take a few extra steps to set up, once completed, it will not need to be done again. Please reach out to CELP if you have any questions!
This does NOT impact the process for trainers/organizations to seek approval to run a professional development opportunity. These will still need to be submitted prior to running the PD offering. ¡La tan esperada función de Desarrollo Profesional externo en el sitio CELP está casi lista! Este anuncio es para informarles que, a finales de la próxima semana, esta función estará disponible en el sitio del CELP. En resumen, nuestro sitio CELP se ha estado “comunicando” con el sistema RISES de la fuerza laboral para transferir las horas de desarrollo profesional obtenidas a través de cursos de desarrollo profesional desarrollados por CELP en su cuenta de RISES. Esto sucede a través de 1) verificar un identificador único coincidente: su ID de Fuerza Laboral y 2) una “comunicación” exhaustivamente probada entre el sitio CELP y el sistema RISES. Por favor, si aún no configuró su cuenta RISES Y agregó su identificación laboral tanto en su cuenta CELP como en ProSolutions (cursos de salud y seguridad), tómese el tiempo para hacerlo esta semana para que sus datos se transfieran a RISES de manera eficiente. El equipo CELP está finalizando un documento de guía de autoayuda y tutoriales grabados sobre cómo navegar por la nueva función de envío de DP externo. Esos módulos de salud y seguridad y otros cursos a través de ProSolutions se fusionarán con su cuenta CELP siempre que tenga 1) su cuenta de Registro de Fuerza Laboral RISES creada, 2) la ID de Fuerza Laboral ingresada en su cuenta CELP y 3) la misma ID de Fuerza Laboral ingresada en su cuenta de ProSolutions. Si bien esto requiere algunos pasos adicionales para configurarlo, una vez completado, no será necesario volver a hacerlo. ¡Comuníquese con CELP si tiene alguna pregunta!
Esto NO afecta el proceso para que los capacitadores/programas busquen aprobación para ejecutar una oportunidad de desarrollo profesional. Estos aún deberán enviarse antes de ejecutar la oferta de DP.
