Dear Provider Community,
We are excited to announce that the Rhode Island Start Early System (RISES) is set to launch on February 5, 2024 officially. As we near this significant milestone, it’s crucial to ensure a seamless transition and effective utilization of the system.
There will be more information about RISES in the coming weeks, as well as a dedicated website for more information on the DHS Office of Child Care webpage. In the meantime, we want to afford you the first opportunity to learn about the RISES Workforce Registry System!
On Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 6pm-8pm, we will be offering a live training of the RISES Workforce Registry for all providers. This training will include:
- Logging in
- Creating your profile
- Managing staff within the system
- Using the Job Board
- Accessing Professional Development Information
- Submitting a ticket for assistance
- Q & A
We look forward to seeing you there! As a note – this webinar will be capped at 500 attendees and registration is required. It will be recorded, and the recording will be posted to the DHS website soon after.

- Gather Credential Information: Collect transcripts, course details, teacher certification information, CPR certification, and any other necessary documentation.
- Compile Employment Details: Ensure you have your vaccination records, employment history, and any relevant employment information ready.
This preparation will facilitate a smooth registration process and enable you to engage efficiently with the RISES system upon its launch.
