Taking a “wide angle lens” approach means looking beyond the classroom to consider the overall organizational climate, leadership, and management practices that support quality early childhood education. This includes sound fiscal management, effective program planning, and strong family partnerships. The Program Administration Scale (PAS) is a valid, reliable tool used to assess these critical areas and is increasingly utilized in Quality Rating Systems.
In this series, participants will gain an overview of the PAS and explore how it can serve as a powerful resource for continuous quality improvement.
Participants can earn up to 7 PD hours by attending two facilitated online session and completing two assignments.
