  • Description

This two-hour professional development session prepares early childhood educators, Therapeutic Integration Specialists (TIS), and program leaders to implement Therapeutic Integration Plans (TIPs) that support children with disabilities and individualized support needs in inclusive settings. Participants will learn how to translate therapeutic goals into daily classroom strategies, identify observable target behaviors, teach replacement skills, and implement interventions consistently across routines and caregivers.

The session emphasizes collaboration with classroom staff and clinical supervisors, objective documentation, and measuring progress. Participants will explore ways to help children apply learned skills across activities, people, and settings and recognize when concerns require clinical consultation. Through a sample TIP review, guided discussion, and a classroom transition case study,  participants will practice identifying plan components, applying strategies aligned with established goals, and selecting data collection methods to monitor children’s participation and  independence.
