Understanding the benefits of a process, rather than product-oriented approach to not only art, but other areas of development is crucial to children and adults. Asking “why” we plan and implement particular activities is an important part of being a reflective teacher. This training will help participants to ask the “W” questions and begin to move towards a less controlling, more child led classroom , and simultaneously, help continue the journey towards more of an art focus and less crafts.
