The Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Child Care has issued the Outbreak Response Playbook: Child Care. This new resource for child care providers offers important guidance for responding to COVID-19 outbreaks in child care settings. The playbook has specific protocols on a number of situations including returning to child care after travel, staff coverage, and provides a daily checklist for administrators, staff, and parents/guardians. Check with the Rhode Island Department of Health and Department of Human Services for up-to-date information.
