  • Description

The CLASS tool has been shown to predict children’s academic and social development. It provides a standardized method to classroom aspects that are amenable to intervention. This professional development session taking place after a formal CLASS observation, will provide Toddler, Preschool and Pre K educators with the understanding that interactions between adults and children are essential to understanding and developing children’s thinking processes and the importance of incorporating thinking skills into the content areas of curriculum. Using the CLASS observation report and feedback session, educators will develop strategies to promote higher order thinking skills in each of the CLASS Domains: Emotional Support, Classroom Organization and Instructional Support.
