  • Description

This two-hour training helps early childhood and school-age professionals understand how stressful experiences can affect a child’s behavior, relationships, learning, and emotional regulation.
Participants will explore trauma-informed approaches that promote safety, predictable routines, trusting relationships, and resilience. Through a behavior-reframing activity and a classroom
case discussion, participants will practice describing behavior without judgment, considering what a child may be communicating, and choosing calm, supportive responses
