From Reactive to Responsive: Rethinking What We Say to Children

Child Development and Learning in Context / Family Child Care Administrators and Educators / Infant-Toddler Educators / Preschool and Pre-K Educators
English
  • Description

Educators will rethink the language that is sometimes used during feelings of conflict and frustration. Instead of demanding compliance, we will focus on building skills. Instead of controlling behavior, we will strengthen regulation.

Participants will explore adult triggers, practice new language in real scenarios, and leave with a clear framework for teaching emotional competence through everyday interactions.
