One characteristic of a robust early learning center is effective family engagement. A family handbook that is comprehensive allows families to understand mutual accountability by knowing what they can expect from your center and what is expected of them. A family handbook explains policies, schedules, teaching and discipline philosophies and much more. This PD offering will walk through the components of a family handbook and review forms and documentation families must complete for enrollment of their child.
Participants can earn up to 4 PD hours by attending one facilitated online session and completing one online assignment.
