Using Cognitive ToyBox for Summative Assessment in RI Pre-K Classrooms (May PD Day)

Beginning in the 2023-2024 school year, all RI Pre-K classrooms will use Cognitive ToyBox (CTB) for
summative assessment. In this session, CTB and RIDE staff will discuss the rationale for adopting this
system, provide an overview of key features, and describe expectations for the upcoming year.
Participants will also hear from teachers and administrators who piloted CTB this winter and spring and
learn about next steps. Participants will receive 2 PD hours by attending this Zoom session.
