This workshop will explore various characteristics of leadership and how every early childhood professional (regardless of role or title) has a unique opportunity to be a leader in his/her own way. While there are certain universal qualities that all leaders embody, the early childhood field includes some unique traits that will be discussed and shared, including communication with families, advocacy work, and community involvement.
