Widening the Lens: Looking at Quality from a Program Administration Perspective - Online Session

Administrative Leadership / Program Directors, Education Coordinators, and Education Supervisors
English
  • Description

Taking a “wide angle lens” approach means looking beyond the classroom to consider the overall organizational climate, leadership, and management practices that support quality early childhood education. This includes sound fiscal management, effective program planning, and strong family partnerships. The Program Administration Scale (PAS) is a valid, reliable tool used to assess these critical areas and is increasingly utilized in Quality Rating Systems.

In this session, participants will gain an overview of the PAS and explore how it can serve as a powerful resource for continuous quality improvement. Be among the first leaders in Rhode Island to engage in this in-depth introduction to the PAS and its practical applications.

Participants can earn up to 4 PD hours by attending one facilitated online session and completing one pre-session assignment.
