Supporting Children with Childhood Trauma in Out of School Time – Online Series

In this training we will discuss Adverse Childhood Experiences, what it means, how it can occur and key practices to ensuring an environment for support for the children. We will discuss the strategies needed for creating and providing opportunities for positive social interaction, building strong relationships with adults, incorporating trauma-informed practices and engagement that will foster positive self- esteem, independence and success for each child.

Participants can earn up to 5 PD hours by completing two online instructor-led sessions and one intersession assignment.
