Are you wondering about how to “do science” in your classroom? This new 3-part series will begin to explore and unpack the newly revised science standards. Come learn how to engage children in learning about physical, life, and earth and space sciences. Course content will cover such areas as science topic selection, supporting the inquiry cycle, and the power of science talk.
Participants who complete the series will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the new early learning standards in the RIELDS Science Domain
- Identify developmentally appropriate practices for supporting science learning
- Prepare and implement ongoing science investigations
Participants can earn up to 12 PD hours by attending three in-person sessions and completing three online assignments
