This one-session PD opportunity will support administrators and PreK teachers in understanding their role in supporting children and families during the transition to Kindergarten. This session will allow participants an opportunity to reflect on current practices and identify next steps.
Participants who complete the series will:
- understand the key characteristics of quality transition to Kindergarten
- enhance their ability to self-assess current program and classroom practices in transitioning children and families to Kindergarten
- identify and access high-quality resources to support improving the transition to Kindergarten it their programs
- begin to develop plans to improve their program’s transition to Kindergarten plan
Participants can earn up to 3 PD hours by attending one facilitated online session and completing one assignment.
