The Learn the Signs. Act Early. program from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) encourages parents and providers to learn the signs of healthy development from birth to 5 years old, monitor every child’s early development, and take action when there is a concern. In this overview session, participants will receive free Learn the Signs. Act Early. (LTSAE) such as children’s board books and posters and will learn how to use them to support early childhood developmental monitoring and screening. The training will be led by Jennifer Sanchez, the CDC’s Act Early Ambassador for Rhode Island.

Participants can earn up to 2 PD hours by attending one facilitated online session and completing one assignment.
