  • Description

The EarlyEdU Alliance offers competency-based online courses in early childhood education that combine theory and the latest research with students’ field-based learning. The conceptual framework that undergirds the approach is that of intentional teaching, which requires teachers to know what to do in the moment, see effective teaching in themselves and others, do these practices in the classroom, reflect on what works and what does not, and improve with thoughtful practices.

Course topics include child assessment, executive function, children’s health and well-being, family engagement, infant mental health, supporting dual language learners, and more. To enroll in a course, participants must create a free membership with the Alliance.
