The Center is pleased to offer a new online professional development (PD) series for preschool teachers and teacher assistants.

Using materials developed by the Head Start National Center on Quality Teaching and Learning, the series includes five modules that explore the topic of curriculum modifications.

The modules describe effective strategies teachers can use to modify and improve their learning environment and interactions to meet the needs of all children in their classroom, including children with disabilities. Each module contains a 20–30 minute video presentation with embedded activities and takes about one hour to complete.

Professionals can earn 5 PD hours by viewing all five modules in the series, completing the activities, and submitting the online survey. Questions? Contact the Center at 401-736-9020.
