The RI Department of Education has designed an online professional development resource to support early childhood educators’ knowledge and skills in child assessment. The three modules in Series 1: Assessment in Early Childhood Settings present the state’s vision for quality child assessment practices in all early learning settings.

Early learning educators can view the modules on the Center website at your own pace. You can earn 1 PD hour for viewing all three modules and 1 additional PD hour for completing a self-assessment activity at the end of the third module.
