The Center has published a second set of online learning modules focused on child assessment in early childhood settings. Developed by the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE), the six-module series supports early childhood educators in understanding and implementing the formative assessment process. Topics covered in the modules include the assessment cycle, observation, documentation, analysis and reflection, evaluation, and implementation.

Participants can receive a total of 4 professional development (PD) hours for viewing all six modules and completing a survey and self-assessment activity.
