This series will support administrators in developing and/or strengthening their foundational knowledge of business practices. Sessions will cover topics including finance, marketing and human resource management. Participants will develop basic business acumen through the introduction of terms and concepts and their applicability to early care and education programs.
Participants who complete the series will:
- understand key terms and concepts related to fiscal management, marketing, and human resource management
- understand how strong fiscal management and marketing efforts can strengthen the center’s bottom line
- understand the essential components of human resource management
Administrators can earn up to 12 PD hours by attending three facilitated online sessions and completing three application assignments.
