Responsive Caregiving: Putting It into Practice

up to 13.5 PD hours English Program Directors, Education Coordinators, and Education Supervisors

This three-session series will provide administrators with an overview of essential practices and characteristics of high-quality infant and toddler programming. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their own program practices and identify strategies for supporting caregivers in implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum for the infants and toddlers in their care. Participants will also have the opportunity to review and enhance their program-level documentation.

Participants who complete the series will:

  • identify essential practices and characteristics of a high-quality infant and toddler curriculum
  • create essential strategies for supporting infant and toddler caregivers
  • identify next steps in creating or enhancing current program-level documentation

Participants can earn up to 13.5 PD hours by attending the three face-to-face sessions and completing three online assignments.
