The Center for Early Learning Professionals is excited to offer a new series for leaders of high-performing early childhood programs. Titled “Inspiring Innovation in a Time of Change,” the series brings together nationally-recognized speakers and Rhode Island’s early learning leaders to explore topics that foster innovation and forward thinking.
The series is for program leaders who are ready to embrace two key competencies from the state’s draft Workforce Knowledge and Competencies for program administrators: (1) create and inspire policy changes that support high-quality early childhood education (ECE) for all children, and (2) seize opportunities to advance ECE issues and shared decision-making.
Kicking off on March 24, the series includes four 2-hour sessions, one each month from March through June. Topics include:
- Inside the Beltway: Exploring National Early Learning Policy
- Preparing Rhode Island’s Dual Language Learners to Succeed
- Is Yours a Learning Organization?
- The New Early Childhood Professional
Program leaders can register for all four sessions, or for individual ones.
