Workforce Knowledge and Competencies Online Modules. Learn about Rhode Island’s Workforce Knowledge and Competency Frameworks for center-based and family child care educators. Understand how to use the WKCs to create your Individual Professional Development Plan and advance your career.
Health and Safety Online Modules. View these online learning modules to meet state requirements for completing an approved health and safety training. Choose from a set of modules designed for center-based educators and a set of modules for license exempt child care providers. Learn basic information about health and safety practices, and complete the online survey to receive a certificate of completion.
RIDE Child Assessment Modules. Advance your knowledge and skills in child assessment by completing nine learning modules developed by the RI Department of Education. Increase your understanding of RI’s vision for quality child assessment practices, and engage in a self-assessment exercise to earn an additional PD hour.
