Our Early Learning Leadership Session, titled “Preparing Rhode Island’s Dual Language Learners to Succeed,” has been rescheduled to Tuesday, August 9, from 1 to 3 pm.
Dr. Joanne Knapp-Philo, recently retired co-director of the National Center on Cultural and Linguistic Responsiveness, will lead a discussion on how to support dual language learners (DLLs) in early care and education settings. She will also share a checklist tool that program leaders can use to asses their systems and services for DLLs and their families.
If you already registered for this session—originally planned for April—you DO NOT need to register again. If you have not yet registered, please do so to secure your spot!
